For the first Christmas concert since its renovation, we will be welcoming pianist Takahiro Yoshikawa, who is based in Milan, Italy.

【piano】 Takahiro YOSHIKAWA
A Milan-based pianist, he has been featured in the Italian media many times, and his performances at La Scala have been highly praised in various publications. Since 2006, he has performed as a soloist at La Scala many times, and has been highly praised in the Italian Corriere Della Sera ("the perfect pianist") and other publications.
In Japan, his piano recital "Celebrating the 2020th Anniversary of the Birth of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli" at Hama-rikyu Asahi Hall in 100 was broadcast on BS4K, BS Premium's "Classic Club" and FM's "Best of Classics". In June 2021, he performed Yoshio Mamiya's "Piano Concerto No. 6" with the NHK Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yoichi Sugiyama at "Music Tomorrow 2021". In March 2, he performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2023 with the NHK Symphony Orchestra conducted by Toshiaki Umeda at the "3 Tokyo Metropolitan Arts Festival" and received favorable reviews. Since 2023, he has appeared as a soloist on numerous occasions at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. From 3 to 2006, she will perform the slow movements of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 2018 and No. 2019 in the ballet production "Petite Mort" (choreography: Jiri Kylian) (21 performances). In 23, she will appear as the solo pianist in the ballet production "Remanso" (choreography: Nacho Duato), performing Granados's Poetic Waltzes (20 performances in total). In the same year, she will perform Arvo Pärt's "Mirror in the Mirror" for Alessandra Ferri and Roberto Bolle at "Gala Fraccio" with La Scala Principal Cello Alfredo Persichilli. Most recently, in May of this year, she will perform Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 2023 with the La Scala Academy Orchestra conducted by David Coreman (ballet performance of the La Scala Academy).
Born in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and completed a master's course at the same university's graduate school. Since 1999, he has been based in Milan, Italy.
