Hotel GrandBach Atami Crescendo, a hotel with the concept of "food and music", has prepared accommodation plans that will allow you to fully enjoy Atami in the summer.

Tenor Saxophone: Shigeru UKON

Born in Kobe in 1963.
He has built his career by performing with Yuzuru Sera (Pf), Eiji Kitamura (Cl), Koji Fujiya (Cl), and Takeshi Inomata (Ds).
In 1998, he performed a tenor battle with Harry Allen and received positive reviews.
He released his first album, Ukon At Ease, in 2001.
In 2008, their second album, Stranger in Paradise, was nominated for the Japan Jazz Award.
He is an accomplished clarinetist and tenor saxophone player known for his swinging, beautiful playing style.



Piano: Takayuki YAGI

Born in Kyoto. Graduated from Doshisha University.
He studied under Barry Harris, Norman Simmons and others in New York.
After returning to Japan, he participated in the Osumi Hisao Trio, Miyanoue Takaaki Super Quartet, and Inomata Takeshi Jazztet, among others.
He frequently appears on NHK Session 505.
Won the Grand Prize in the solo category at the 24th Asakusa Jazz Contest.
In 2015, he released a CD as the first artist on Jazz Tokyo RECORDS.



Guitar: Mitsukuni TANABE

He started playing guitar at the age of 10 and studied jazz guitar under Takaaki Miyanoue.
He began his professional career in 1985, and moved to the United States in 1988. He performed in sessions with many musicians, mainly in New York.
He has also participated in recordings by Yasuko Agawa, Aki Yashiro, Scott Hamilton, John Bunch, and others.
He is also active in publishing instructional books and test performance reports for music magazines.
In 2004, he released his first album as a leader, Bernie's Tune.
He is well known as a player who can handle a wide range of styles, from solo guitar to big band ensembles.



Piano: Yuichi NARITA

He started classical piano at the age of 9, and during high school he spent all his time listening to rock music with his guitar.
In 2002, he studied jazz at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music and began his professional career upon graduation.
He moved to the United States in 2010 and participated in live shows and sessions there.
After returning to Japan the following year, he performed mainly in Yokohama and Tokyo, and is now one of the most active young pianists.
In the film "Kids on the Slope" directed by Miki Takahiro, he plays the piano for the main character (Nishimi Kaoru).



Bass: Ushio ITOH

Born in Setagaya Ward in 1955. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Seikei University.
He began performing while still in college.
Since then, he has performed with hundreds of artists from Japan and abroad, mainly at live houses and concerts, and has been a regular with many prestigious groups, including Yashiro Kazuo, Kitamura Eiji, Sera Yuzuru, and Fujiya Koji.
In 1989, he also performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival in the United States.
He also produces albums, composes and arranges music, conducts research into music therapy, and is involved in care at a psychiatric clinic.
Since 2008, he has also served as CEO of the music planning company Rakushido Co., Ltd.



Vocals: Naoko Takahashi

She started playing the piano at the age of three and began her career as a jazz singer while studying oil painting at Musashino Art University.
He has also released three LP titles through the dance unit M-musiq.
In 2010, she released a duet song with Tsunoda Hiro called "Shinayaka na Kaze."
Participated in "JAZZ VOCAL SHOWCASE vol.2012" in 2.
She has also left her mark on numerous other singing careers, including in commercials and recordings.
In 2014, she starred in the play "The Bride of Star City."
Her voice is praised for its clear and noble quality, and she has gained support from a wide range of people.
