A special weekend that will touch your heart with elegance - A salon concert accommodation plan where you can enjoy the sounds of the harpsichord -

Enjoy a special and elegant weekend in Okuatami, where winter cherry blossoms blossom in full bloom.
We will be holding a one-night-only salon concert on Friday, February 2th.
A special evening filled with the sounds of many masterpieces, including works by J.S. Bach. We would like to introduce our "Salon Concert Accommodation Plan" to let you bask in the afterglow.
This is an accommodation plan where you can enjoy a salon concert exclusively for guests staying at the hotel.
This concert is a salon concert to enjoy the sounds of the harpsichord. Please enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Baroque period instruments, including a trio of the harpsichord, the baroque violin, and the flute traverso, which were used in the time of J.S. Bach, performed by world-renowned artists active both in Japan and overseas.

For dinner, we will be serving a special full-course menu only for this day. Using carefully selected ingredients from Atami and Izu, the dinner menu is designed to resemble a concert, building anticipation for the performance.
Enjoy the best of what we offer, including the background music of J.S. Bach, the refreshing scenery, the soothing hot springs, and meals packed with seasonal ingredients from Atami and Izu, and spend a valuable weekend for adults.

Takako Miyazaki Pianist/Harpsichordist

After completing the piano performance course and graduate school at the Tokyo College of Music, she graduated from the piano department and the early music instrument department at the University of Music, Drama and Media Hannover in Germany. She also completed the master's program in the fortepiano department at the same university. While studying there, she served as an assistant accompaniment at the university's opera department. She studied piano under the late Akira Kamino, Ami Fujiwara, Emi Harimoto, Katsunori Ishii, Yoshiko Kurasawa, and Gerrit Zitterwald, fortepiano under G. Zitterwald, Zvi Meniker, harpsichord under Z. Meniker, and lied accompaniment under Jan Philipp Schulze.
She has won many prizes in competitions both in Japan and abroad, including first place in the Lied Duo category at the 2013 Schubert International Competition (Dortmund, Germany). She has performed with the Niedersachsen Opera Orchestra (TfN Philharmonie) in 2011 and at the 2013 International Handel Festival (Gottingen, Germany), and has been active as a lied accompanist, fortepiano player, and harpsichordist throughout Germany. She returned to Japan in 2014. She has been involved in a wide range of activities, including numerous fortepiano recitals, lecture concerts, lied accompaniment, and introducing works by female composers, and her rich color sense, dynamic performances full of vitality, and deep insight into music have been highly praised in magazines and newspapers both in Japan and abroad. She also serves as a judge for competitions such as the PTNA Piano Competition, and is involved in mentoring the next generation of musicians.



Toshihiko Amano, violinist

After graduating from the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts, he completed his master's degree at the same university. He has participated in performances, recordings, and TV recordings with Bach Collegium Japan and Antonello, among others. He studied under Natsumi Wakamatsu and A. Beyer. In recent years, he has been holding independent performances two or three times a year with viola da gamba player Masako Hirao and others, and is also researching and performing the lira da braccio, a string instrument from the Renaissance. He is the founder of Simon Standidge and his friends. He is a lecturer in the Baroque Violin Department at the Arles Music School and the Eisenach Conservatory. He is also a lecturer at the Toyama Early Music Association.



Hana Sasaki, flutist

Born in Akita Prefecture. Started learning piano at age 5 and flute at age 9. Graduated from Akita City Sanno Junior High School and Akita Prefectural Akita Kita High School, and graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Music, Department of Instrumental Music, majoring in flute. Studied flute under Jun Sugawara, Hisae Sugawara, Hiroaki Kanda, Ayako Takagi, and Eisuke Takezawa. Studied flute traverso under Liliko Maeda. Attended master classes by Emmanuel Pahud, Philippe Bernold, Hansgeorg Schmeisser, and Barthold Kuijken. Won the Grand Prize in the wind and percussion category at the 12th Akita Prefecture Youth Music Competition. Won the Encouragement Award in the junior high school category and a selection in the high school category at the Tokyo All Japan Student Music Competition. Won third place in the ensemble category at the Japan Flute Convention 2013. Selected for the 3th International Early Music Competition in Yamanashi.
Currently, he performs in various concerts, including solo performances, chamber music, and guest appearances with orchestras both in Japan and abroad, and is also active in many areas, such as teaching flute and piano performance. In 2014, he performed with world-famous performers such as Dalton Baldwin (pianist) and Reiko Watanabe (violinist). In October 2015, he performed the Flute Concerto with the Akita City Sanno Junior High School Wind Orchestra, and in November, with the Omagari Agricultural High School Wind Orchestra. In July 10, he performed J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 11 and Orchestral Suite No. 2016 with Ewald Danel (violinist and conductor) and others.
