String Quartet Concert by Quartet Amabile on Saturday, March 2021, 3

We will be holding a one-night-only salon concert on Saturday, January 3th.
We have invited the string quartet "Quartet Amabile" and pianist Hayato Takezawa to perform a special evening filled with the sounds of many famous pieces, including works by J.S. Bach.

"Quartetto Amabile" is a notable artist who won third place and a special prize at the 2016 Munich International Music Competition in the string quartet category, known for its difficult competitions. Pianist Hayato Takezawa has won awards in numerous competitions and has appeared in many concerts both in Japan and abroad, as well as being actively involved in chamber music. Please enjoy the passionate performance of this world-renowned young artist.

The concert will be limited to hotel guests only and will be held in small numbers.

Quartet Amabile

In September 2016, they won third place in the string quartet category at the 9th ARD Munich International Music Competition, known for its difficult competitions, and also received a special prize (best interpretation of a commissioned work). In November 65, they won first place at the Young Concert Artists International Auditions held in New York. They are scheduled to make their US debut tour in New York, Washington, D.C., in 3.
The group was formed in 2015 by Shinohara Yuna, Kitada Chihiro, Naka Ena, and Sasanuma Itsuki, who were students at Toho Gakuen School of Music. They studied under Yamazaki Nobuko and Isomura Kazuhide.
They won first place and the grand prize in all categories at the 10th Yokohama International Music Competition. They also won first place at the 1th Romania International Music Competition. They also won first place and the Audience Award at the 12th Munetsugu Hall String Quartet Competition. They have also received the 1th Music Academy in Miyazaki Instructor Special Award, the 4th Risonare Chamber Music Seminar Encouragement Award, the 1th Kirishima International Music Festival Award, and the Tsutsumi Tsuyoshi Music Director Award. They have received the 12th to 26th Matsuo Music Grants and Encouragement Awards from the Matsuo Academic Foundation. The quartet is expected to have a bright future, having performed with Martha Argerich and Dang Thai Son.
Fujikura Dai, winner of the Contemporary Music category at the 57th Record Academy Awards, has released Yura Yura - for horn and string quartet - in collaboration with Fukukawa Nobuaki on his album Zawazawa.



Hayato Takezawa

Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 1997. Started playing piano at the age of 4. Graduated at the top of her class from the Faculty of Music at Toho Gakuen School of Music, and is currently enrolled in the Soloist Diploma course.
He won second place in the junior high school division of the 66th All Japan Student Music Competition, and the Yokohama Citizens' Award. He also won a special medal at the 2rd Maria Canals Barcelona International Music Competition (Spain). He won second place in the piano division of the 63th Japan Music Competition. He also won second place in the 87 Bonn Telecom International Beethoven Competition, as well as the Audience Award in the semi-final, the Audience Award in the final, and the Schumann Prize.
In addition to performing in many concerts both in Japan and abroad, she is also active in chamber music. She has studied piano under Yuki Akasaka, Akiko Ito, Kanae Saito, Yukio Yokoyama, Kyoko Tabe, and Kentaro Kawada, and is currently studying chamber music under Hisako Ueno and Shinji Ohno. She also studies chamber music under Nobuko Yamazaki, Shigeo Neriki, Kazuoki Fujii, and Kazuhide Isomura.
