Known worldwide as a rare player who is adept at playing two early instruments, the harpsichord and the historical harp, he has participated in numerous concerts, music festivals and recordings. His collaborations with artists across a wide range of genres, including René Jacobs, Carlos Nunez, Mikala Petri, Yosuke Yamashita, Mutsumi Hatano, Michiyama Fujiwara and Kaiji Moriyama, have always garnered a great response. Many of his recordings on domestic and international labels have been highly praised, including being selected as special selections by the Record Geijutsu magazine and recommended by the Asahi Shimbun. His 2 release, "J.S. Bach: Toccatas," was selected as a participating work in the 2019 Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival, a recommended album by the Asahi Shimbun, and a special selection by the Record Geijutsu magazine, and has been featured in various magazines, making him a hot topic.
After graduating from the piano department of Tokyo College of Music and completing the graduate school at the same university, he studied abroad at the Milano Conservatory and the Schola Cantorum Basel. He won first place in the harpsichord category at the 11th Yamanashi Early Music Competition and the Tochigi Kuranomachi Music Festival Award. He is the artistic director of the Shinshu Early Music Village Music Festival. He is a part-time lecturer at Musashino Academia Musicae.
