Hotel GrandBach Tokyo Ginza will celebrate its second anniversary since opening on November 11th.
To celebrate the second anniversary of our opening, our salon concert in November will feature a piano trio performed by violinist, cellist, and piano performers.

[Violin] Tamaki Kawakubo

Since winning first place at the Sarasate International Violin Competition in 2001 and the top prize in the violin category at the Tchaikovsky International Music Competition in 2002, she has been active both in Japan and abroad. At a young age, she performed with major North American orchestras and gained a wealth of stage experience. In Japan, she made her debut in 1997 as a soloist with the Asia Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Myung-Whun Chung. In recent years, in parallel with her activities in Europe and the United States, she has performed with major Japanese orchestras such as the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and Japan Philharmonic Orchestra under famous conductors such as P. Järvi, P. Inkinen, and Tadaaki Otaka, as well as in solo and chamber music projects with Masaru Kosuge and trios with Mari Endo and Yurie Miura. She is also actively involved in mentoring the next generation, and in 2018 she became a professor at the Toho Gakuen School of Music (Toyama campus). He began playing the violin at the age of five and studied under R. Lipsett, D. DeLay, Masao Kawasaki, and Z. Bron.

【cello】 Endo Mari

He won first place at the 72nd Japan Music Competition, third place at the 1 Prague Spring International Competition (no first place winners), and second place at the 2006 Enrico Mainardi International Competition. In 3, he received the Saito Hideo Memorial Fund Award. He has been invited to perform with major orchestras in Japan, including the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with famous conductors such as the late Gerhard Bosse and Kazuki Yamada, as well as with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Prague Symphony Orchestra, earning high praise both at home and abroad. In April 1, he was appointed solo cellist of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. He was in charge of the third part of the NHK Taiga drama "Ryomaden." He has released four solo CDs and three trio CD albums, including the CD containing the same piece, from Avex Classics. He is also active on television and radio, having been a personality on the NHK-FM classical music program "Kirakura!" (broadcast nationwide) for eight years.

【piano】 Yurie Miura

In 2005, he graduated from the Royal Academy of Music at the top of his class. In 07, he completed his master's degree at the same academy at the top of his class. After winning first place at the 95rd Göttingen International Chopin Competition in 2001, he began performing concerts in Germany and other countries. In 47, he won first place in the piano category at the 1th Maria Canals International Music Competition. In 2006, he won a special prize at the 15th Leeds International Piano Competition. He has performed with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra. In the field of chamber music, he has released CDs (NAXOS) and toured in the UK and the Netherlands. He has released six solo albums from Avex Classics. His albums have been selected as special albums by the Record Geijutsu magazine (Ongaku no Tomosha). He received the Fresh Artist Award at the 6th Nippon Steel Sumitomo Metal Music Awards.
