[Oboe] Masamitsu San'nomiya
In junior high school, he was fascinated by the sound of the baroque oboe and studied under Masashi Homma. He then studied modern oboe under Masashi Homma, Yukizo Yoshinari, and Kozo Kakizaki. He graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae in 1995. He began performing while still a student and has played in numerous orchestras. As a baroque and classical oboe player, he is active mainly in solo, chamber music, and orchestral performances.
Won second place at the Bruges International Early Music Competition. Since 96, he has participated in the recording of all JS Bach cantatas with the Bach Collegium Japan, and has performed numerous oboe obbligatos. He has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall and the Prague Spring Music Festival. Since 2002, he has been teaching the next generation of musicians as a lecturer in the Early Music Department at Tokyo University of the Arts. Since 08, he has been making baroque oboes with Tsuguo Tamura, and since 22, he has released solo albums such as "Virtuoso Oboe," "19th Century Parisian Oboe Works," and "Widderkea Duo Sonatas." He has participated in over 100 CD recordings. He has appeared on NHK-FM's "Masterpiece Recital" and NHK-BS's "Classic Club," among others. He is currently the principal oboist of the Bach Collegium Japan. He is also a lecturer in the Early Music Department at Tokyo University of the Arts. Head of "Les Vents Romantiques Tokyo".
[Cembalo] Makiko Mizunaga
Graduated from the Department of Early Musical Instruments at Toho Gakuen School of Music. Studied at the graduate school of Freiburg University of Music and obtained the German National Harpsichord Soloist Diploma. In 1999, won second place at the Montreal International Harpsichord Competition and also won the top prize for performing M. Gonneville's contemporary works. Performed throughout Europe during his study abroad. In 2001, made his solo recital debut in Tokyo.
She has performed at Tokyo Opera City's "B→C", "La Folle Journée Kanazawa" in 2015, and "28 Junior High School Music Digital Textbook" by Kyoiku Geijutsusha. As a member of "La Fontaine", she won second place in the ensemble category of the 11th Yamanashi Early Music Competition. In 2000, she won second place in the ensemble category of the Bruges International Competition, and also won the Audience Award. She has participated in the London SBC Music Festival and the York Early Music Festival. In 2001, she was an overseas trainee of the Agency for Cultural Affairs. He has released six solo CDs: "D. Scarlatti Sonatas" (Entre) in 2002, "Dreaming Rain" in 2003, "English Garden" (Victor) in 2006, "Beautiful England - Songs and Variations of the Minstrel" (Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments) in 2011, "Harpsichord Toy Box" (Nippon Acoustic Records) in 2014, and "Goldberg Variations" (Pooh's Hoop Label) in 2018. He studied harpsichord under Robert Hill.
