The Thuringian Forest, located in the state of Thuringia in central Germany where J.S. Bach was born and raised, is a richly forested low mountain range that stretches for a total length of approximately 150 km and a total width of approximately 35 km.
An artwork that pays homage to the life of J.S. Bach, the "Father of Music" who lived in harmony with the Thuringian Forest.
"Yoshino Cherry Blossoms and Golden Pheasant"
This Japanese painting by a contemporary artist was inspired by the double cherry blossoms in Tsunenobu Kano's "Yoshinozu byobu," a screen depicting famous cherry blossom spots. With gorgeous cherry blossoms and golden pheasants as the main focus, rivers and mountains peek out from between the gold-leaf clouds, creating a landscape with depth.

J.S. Bach was known to be a coffee lover. This work is a collage of the small comic opera "Coffee Cantata" (BWV211) composed during his time in Leipzig, the "Twin Merman Coffee House" which became a famous landmark in the city, and churches in Leipzig. The gold lines connect the era of Bach and the present.

This Japanese painting is based on the composition of "Flowers and Birds of the Four Seasons" by Kano Motonobu, a Muromachi period painter and second generation master of the Kano school, and was painted by a contemporary artist in the style of the Kano school. The motif is the contrast between white and black, with a white heron, known in the Kojiki as a "messenger of the gods," and a black catfish, a symbol of natural disasters. At the bottom, the flower and bird painting is depicted with a mountain azalea, a flower in Chuo Ward. The giant catfish, which has lived in Japan since ancient times, awakens from its slumber, and the white heron appears to be sounding a warning against ideas coming from the West. "I painted this with the image of Tokyo when it was still in nature," says the artist.

Bach was employed as an organist at the Weimar court and composed many organ pieces here. This piece is inspired by the flow of sound from that organ.

It is inspired by Brandenburg Concerto No. 32, a representative piece from Bach's time in Köthen, from the age of 38 to 5, and the nature of Köthen.
Lattice ~Leipzig~
This piece is inspired by the "Air on the G String" arrangement of BWV1068, composed during his time in Leipzig. The G string refers to the lowest of the four strings on a violin, and the piece is called "Air on the G String" because it can be played using only the G string.
