[Held on November 7th] Cocktail Event "Autumn Cocktail Night feat. Pernod Ricard Japan"
As autumn deepens in November, bar and lounge Magdalena will host "Autumn Cocktail Night feat. Pernod Richard Japan," a cocktail event where guests can experience the wide-ranging lineup of Pernod Ricard Japan, a global premium spirits company.
Two guest bartenders from the company, one a whiskey ambassador and the other a champagne ambassador, will be presenting ambitious creative cocktails that blend Japanese and Western influences.
Also on the day, Hotel GrandBach head bartender Tsukasa Takahashi will unveil "THE CONNECTION," a two-layered cocktail evocative of the encounter between Japanese and Western cultures, made with the Kyoto Distillery's prestigious Japanese gin "Ki No Bi Kyoto Dry Gin," plum liqueur "Ki No Ume," and fragrant, freshly ground organic tea leaves "CUZEN MATCHA."
This cocktail was inspired by a chance encounter (connection) between two geniuses associated with the hotel, J.S. Bach and Tsutaya Juzaburo, and is a unique original cocktail that combines the beauty of Japanese and Western cultures.

An Australian living in Japan, he started his career as a bartender, gaining experience in hotels and various bars around town before joining Pernod Ricard Japan in 2021. He also serves as a whisky ambassador, using his outstanding knowledge and skills to discover influential bars and promote the appeal of Pernod Ricard's products through cocktails using the brand's sophisticated lineup.
Pernod Ricard Japan Champagne Ambassador Hayata Takahashi
After building his career at a popular hotel restaurant in Tokyo, he is now a bartender at KITCHEN BAR ROBROY, which offers a wide variety of original cocktails and classic classics. He is currently working as a champagne ambassador for Pernod Ricard Japan. He will represent Chiba in the 2022 National NBA Elite Bartender Championship.
