5th Anniversary Concert

Hotel Granbach Sendai will celebrate its 5th anniversary on July 7, 2026.
To express our gratitude to all of you who have supported us over the years, we will be holding our "5th Anniversary Week" from Tuesday, July 7th to Wednesday, July 15th, 2026.To mark the grand finale, we will be holding the "5th Anniversary Concert."

This performance will feature pianist from Leipzig, Germany, a city known for its strong connection to J.S. Bach.We are pleased to welcome Max Mostovecki.Hotel GrandBach Sendai, which has been guided by the music of J.S. Bach, concludes its 5th anniversary celebrations.As a special treat, we will present a performance by a young pianist who carries on the musical culture of Leipzig.

Through Bach and the composers in his lineage, the legacy passed down in LeipzigThis program traces the lineage of German music.Beginning with Mendelssohn's works, which re-evaluated the music of J.S. ■Artist Profile 

Max Mostovetski

Born in Leipzig, Germany in 2001, she developed a love for music from a young age, influenced by her mother, a piano teacher. At the age of five, she began playing piano at the Johann Sebastian Bach Music School. She started performing at the age of seven and has since won or placed in numerous competitions both domestically and internationally.He has received high international acclaim, including first prize at the "National Bach Competition (Köthen)" and being a finalist and recipient of the Yamaha Prize at the "International J.S. Bach Competition."She performs in Germany and throughout Europe, and has also appeared at the MDR Music Festival. Her activities are wide-ranging, including performing piano concertos by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Schumann with orchestras.Since 2019, she has been studying under Grigory Grtzman at the Weimar University of Music. She plans to enter the Master's program at the Lübeck University of Music in 2026. She is currently enrolled in the musicology program at the University of Leipzig.
