Three New Original Cocktails to Enjoy While Traveling Through Miyagi and Sendai

At Hotel GrandBach Sendai, we have created three original cocktails inspired by the scenery and culture of Miyagi and Sendai.
The refreshing “Ishinomaki Paloma,” with its hints of plum wine and shiso; the “Mori no Miyako Fashioned,” blending coffee and whiskey; and the sweet “Miyagino Daiquiri,” made with rum and pineapple. Enjoy the unique flavors of each, along with the stories behind them.
Miyagino Daiquiri
Inspired by the scenery of Miyagino in Sendai, this dessert cocktail combines a smooth, mellow flavor with a refreshing finish. Made with rum as its base, it blends the gentle richness of custard with the refreshing tartness of pineapple. The rich aroma of rum envelops the entire drink, making it a delightful treat to enjoy like a dessert.
Enjoy its smooth texture and the bright, tropical fruit finish.
Fashion in the City of Trees
A dessert cocktail inspired by the sophisticated streetscape of Sendai. Built on a base of bitter coffee and whiskey, it features layers of citrus and blueberry flavors, with a hint of cinnamon. A rich, complex flavor unfolds against a creamy texture.
Ishinomaki Paloma
This refreshing cocktail is inspired by the sea off Ishinomaki. It’s made with tequila, combined with umeshu and shiso leaves, and accented with the crisp tartness of lime. The result is a crisp, refreshing drink with the invigorating aroma of shiso.
