Saturday, February 2021, 2 [Sichuan Douhua Hanzhuang Collaboration] Enjoy a "French Chinese Dinner" while listening to jazz

Hotel GrandBach Atami Crescendo's French cuisine uses carefully selected ingredients from Atami and Izu, and Sichuan Douhua Hanzhuang (Marunouchi, Tokyo) offers a collaboration with authentic Sichuan cuisine!

On Saturday, February 2021, 2, we will invite the chef from Sichuan Douhua Fanzhuang, a Singapore-based restaurant serving Sichuan cuisine that is opening its first outlet in Japan, to enjoy a collaborative dinner with Atami Cuisine at Hotel GrandBach Atami Crescendo.

Sichuan cuisine is characterized by its mala flavor, which uses spices from various parts of China. Although it is generally thought of as spicy, by using non-spicy seasonings such as black vinegar from Sichuan, black fermented black beans, sesame paste, and sweet bean paste, a wide variety of seasonings are created, resulting in dishes with unique tastes and aromas. Sichuan Douhua Fanzhuang has established a cooking method that does not use any chemical seasonings while preserving the characteristics of Sichuan cuisine using traditional techniques, and is a representative restaurant of the new Sichuan cuisine born in Singapore, "Singapore Sichuan."

The event will feature a culinary collaboration between the two chefs, as well as an acrobatic Chinese tea service by an authentic tea artist from Sichuan Douhua Restaurant, Chinese and French wine pairings by sommeliers from Sichuan Douhua Restaurant and Hotel GrandBach Atami Crescendo, and live classical jazz performances.
