9) Mimuroto-ji Hydrangeas

The vast 16,500㎡ garden displays seasonal flowers year-round. In June, the Hydrangea Garden becomes a spectacular sight with 10,000 plants of 50 varieties—Western hydrangeas, lacecap hydrangeas, oakleaf hydrangeas, and the legendary seven-tiered hydrangea—earning its renown as the "Hydrangea Temple."
